SHIPPING DAYS: I try to mainly send parcels out on Mondays & Tuesdays. This way, parcels are most likely to arrive prior to the weekend. This also means that your orders aren't sitting in depots over the weekend. This also aids in avoiding lost or damaged parcels.

Wholesale orders also can take several weeks to complete due to the size, being made to order & if any extra supplies need to be purchased in order to fulfil the order.

Q : What does your products smell like? Head to the section on the website with our entire "Scent List" & a detailed description of each scent to best help you understand what it'll smell like before you purchase. If you don't want to commit to a large product being unsure of a scent, there's always our "Shot Pots" which are a perfect way to test a scent or 2.

Q: What wax do you use? At Boho Tranquility Co we only use 100% natural Soy Wax. Our Soy Wax contains NO GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms), NO Paraffin, NO unnatural additives & are Kosher certified. Our Soy Wax is 100% plant based making it Vegan friendly.

Q: How are your products made? All Boho Tranquility Co products are handcrafted with love in the studio located at our home, in rural NSW. All our materials/supplies are consciously/ethically sourced ensuring that BTC gets the best quality & life of the final products.

Q: Can I have more information on the fragrances you use? At Boho Tranquility Co we use fragrances that have been made using the highest quality of materials ensuring you get the best scent throw. Our fragrances are Vegan, Cruelty free, Paraben free & Phthalate free. Our fragrances are known to not have that "synthetic" smell like some other brands do.

Q: How do you calculate your burn time? Our burn time is calculated based on our test burning for the recommended 2-4 hours at a time. If you burn your candle for longer than 4 hours at a time your candle will burn faster & will decrease the overall burn time of your candle. This is because the jar heats up to the hotter than recommended temperature, resulting in the wax melting faster. To get the most out of your burn time, we recommend not burning your candle for longer than 4 hours at a time.

Q : How do I choose to pick up my order? The website doesn't have the option for "Pick up" due to Boho Tranquility Co being ran out of my home & I don't feel comfortable having my address listed on the website for all to see. Use the discount code PICKUP at checkout which will void the postage cost. Message me to organise pick up & get the needed details.

Q : How come my candle/melt has a yellow/orange discolouration? Wax will be affected by natural &/or artificial light at some point. Dye-free candles will start to yellow & dyed wax will eventually fade. Fragrances with a high vanillin content & many citrus scents can cause the wax to develop a yellow tint within 24 hours. Fragrances with small amounts of vanillin & floral scents can cause a gradual yellowing over time. This DOES NOT affect the candle/melt at all, it is only a cosmetic issue.

Q : How come my wick has gone funny after a burn? The "mushroom" shape sometimes seen at the end of a candle wick after burning is the result of carbon buildup. Trim wick between burning... Some wicks are more prone to mushrooming than others. Be sure to trim your wick to 1/4" each time you burn the candle.

 Q : How come my candle/melt has got a white texture on it? 

"Frosting" which it is commonly called is a byproduct of a natural wax & is caused by the growth of tiny crystals on the surfaces of the wax. ALL 100% soy wax will frost over time, but luckily frosting is solely an aesthetic issue & DOES NOT affect the way your candle/melt burns or smells.

Q: Why does my candle look like this after a burn? The rough, bumpy tops after burning a soy wax candle are caused when the hot wax in the melt pool cools & solidifies at an inconsistent rate. This is a common feature of soy wax. In fact, this is a way to show the candle is made with an all-natural soy wax. It DOES NOT affect the performance of the candle.

Q: IS IT LEGAL & SAFE TO DECORATE CANDLES WITH CRYSTALS, DRIED FLOWERS AND HERBS? 

The short answer is YES. It is legal & a candle made correctly with crystals &/or dried flowers is as safe as any undecorated candle.

As per our "Care & Instructions" we do highly recommend our candle decor to be removed prior to lighting. This is as a precaution.

So why do some people (both buyers & makers) spread untruths about beautifully decorated candles ? One possible reason is that these people have never tried or been trained in candle embellishment. If a candle is made correctly, the decor will not become a fire.
